Welcome to WROLC – The Western Regional Outdoor Leadership
Conference, where we invite you to “Rekindle Your Connection with
the Outdoors” and redefine your relationship with nature. In a
rapidly changing world, WROLC challenges outdated views of the
outdoors, encouraging a fresh perspective on its role in our
lives.
Our theme goes beyond simple appreciation, pushing participants
to rethink how we engage with nature. WROLC envisions a future
where the outdoors is not just for adventure but is central to
sustainable living, mindful leadership, and ecological harmony.
Through discussions, interactive sessions, and workshops, we aim
to break old paradigms and explore how nature can be integrated
into our communities and personal growth. We believe that by
challenging traditional thinking, we can foster a new era of
outdoor leadership that values conservation, inclusivity, and
innovation.
Join us as we explore the untapped potential of the outdoors and
reshape how we connect with the natural world. Together, let’s
create a future where the outdoors is not just a destination but
an integral part of our evolving consciousness.

held?
This year WROLC will be held in Sacramento California at Sac

Why are we camping at a State Park?
We were unable to obtain permission to sleep on Sac State’s
campus. We have partnered with California State Parks and
moved Friday and Sunday programming to Folsom Lake SRA.
What if it rains?
Be sure to come prepared with your all-weather tents, tarps, rain
gear, and extra sets of warm clothing. If you have extra
pop-up tents, that would be helpful for your group.
