Time: 8:00AM - 1:00PM
Grab a paddle and get ready for an adventure down the Upper South Fork of the American River also known as “Chili Bar”! Don’t let names like Meat grinder, Triple Threat, and Trouble Maker scare you, this section of river is great for beginners, families, and anyone looking for some whitewater fun in the California sun! A typical day through the Chili Bar section is approximately 4 hours on the water and requires attentive listening and engaged paddling to navigate some of the harder class III rapids early in the day. End the day on the more laidback class II section through the historic gold rush town of Coloma, CA. Come explore this world-class river and see why this is the most commercially rafted river is California.

No previous experience is necessary. Trip meets mid-morning at Camp Lotus, Coloma. Trip includes guides, shuttle, and all rafting equipment. Minimum age is 9.
