Youth Camp Begins Here...

Expedition Camp is designed for those looking for a wilderness experience that is beyond the ordinary summer camp. Backcountry travel gives youth the opportunity to increase confidence, self-reliance, and deepen their appreciation and connection to nature. Caring and trained counselors will teach campers essential backpacking skills that include basic campcraft, packing and preparation, map reading, backcountry cooking, and Leave No Trace principles. The skills and characteristics gained through this experience can be taken back home and applied to everyday life.

Camp includes transportation, knowledgeable camp staff, technical equipment, t-shirt and all meals from dinner on Monday to lunch on Friday. Campers are required to bring their personal items, clothing, eating utensils and lunch on Monday. This camp meets at 8:00 am Monday and ends at 6:00 pm Friday.

Campers bring their personal items, clothing, eating utensils and lunch on Monday. They may use personal backpacking gear pending approval of the camp staff.
